Many of my interests include sports, but I am also very active in my school and community. I love computers. Ever since dad brought home an Apple LC II, I've been hooked on them. I learned the basics on that computer until we got the new, 'state of the art technology' Pentium 100. Since then I've learned windows/DOS inside and out. Not long after, we got a 486 for free and I got into tearing my computers apart and rebuilding them. I have built computers from scratch for fun and experimentation. My addiction grew to the Internet quickly once all of my friends were online. At first it was just a way to talk, but soon I discovered the wonders which it has to offer. My first webpage was made with Publisher (The AOL default webpage creator) which walked you through step by step. I wanted more control over my sites and learned HTML quickly. Although now I use Dreamweaver, it is still very valuable to have learned HTML and understand the code completely. I still edit my page in HTML frequently. I'm not an expert at webdesign or anything, I just love to experiment in different layouts. I hope for someday soon to have a growing community where people will visit my site daily. Before I can do that I need to organize my thoughts and have content that people will come back to check daily.
Besides computers I'm lost in a world of sports. I can't remember a time when I wasn't playing Basketball, Soccer or Baseball. I play Basketball and Soccer on my High School's varsity teams. This year is also my first year for playing Tennis on the varsity team. Besides the school teams, I have played on various rec leagues and play around with my friends all the time. It's great to be in shape and sorts help me do exactly that.
Where would kids be without video games? I'm hooked on them just like any other kid. I started out with the Nintendo and have been gathering consoles ever since. I'm not a video junky or anything because I rarely have time to play with all my school work and sports. One day, I hope to make my own video game. Even if its not a major game for sale, I just want to make one for myself and friends to play. To say I've done it.
