On May 9, we reached Switzerland and took our lunch in a restaurant half way to Lucerne. Before reaching our hotel, we cruised along the beautiful Lake Lucerne.

After an early breakfast in our hotel, we took a short distance drive to Engelberg to take a 45 minutes journey by aerial cableway to the summit station on Mount Titlis. After the mountain excursion, the afternoon was free to shop or relax.

The Lion Monument, Lucerne, May 11
Next morning, we visited Lucerne's emotive Lion Monument before travelling to France to Paris.
