I didn't get to leave the hostel until 7:30 A.M. this morning as 'Load Bearing', 'Texas T's' friend who is shuttling people around in her car, was late getting back from an earlier shuttle trip where he dropped some hikers north of Mt. Moosilauke. I don't know how, but I forgot to mention, that we saw a moose crossing the road yesterday on the way to the hostel. Hopefully I will get to see one on the trail as well.

Anyhow, as we ('Blaze', 'Cowboy', and myself) didn't get dropped off back at the trail until 8:00 A.M. going over Mt. Moosilauke was definitely out of the question today for me, so I had an easy 10 mile cruise to the shelter. 'Cowboy', being a power hiker was going over, and 'Blaze' had to jump off the trail at mile 9 to go to the post office to see if his winter gear had arrived. If his mail drop wasn't there, he would have to return to the hostel for the night.

Well, 'Blaze' hasn't arrived at the shelter, so his drop mustn't have arrived. 'Guern' and 'Donkey' have arrived, so they finally got out of the Hanover vortex. They tell me 'Chupa' had to leave the trail, as his wife was ill. He will be very disappointed.

The Mozzies are back with a vengeance. Every time I stopped today they were on me. It had looked like they were thinning out.

That's it for today. Goodnight all.
