I had a great breakfast at Shaw's, and then young Keith Shaw ran me out to the trailhead. It was tough going as I had about seven days food on board and I really felt the extra weight. Fortunately, the trail today was fairly easy.

I was following 'Otter' and his son, 'Wolf' and around 12:30 P.M. we came to the Big Wilson Stream, which was a strong flowing stream with a nice set of rock slabs in the middle. So we set down in the middle of the stream (pictured) on the rocks and dipped our feet in the lovely cool water. Then we had lunch and just enjoyed sitting there soaking up the sun.

I had tuna, and then followed it up with tortillas with peanut butter and grape jelly. I managed to find a squeeze pack of grape jelly at the supermarket yesterday. I have been trying to buy one of these for months. Grape jelly is really tasty and is a great change. Whilst at the supermarket I also found a 1 1/2 pound pack of peanut M&M's. It's huge, but ideal for a long hike.

I'm in the tent tonight - no Mozzies!

That's it for today, folks. Goodnight all.
