occupation given as Railway Porter. Mother's name given as Aminto.

Birth
record of Jane Harley, born February 20th 1881in Dunfermline. David's
occupation given as Goods Railway Porter.
Mother's name given as Minto

Birth record of Alexander Harley, born September 26th 1883 in Dunfermline.
David's occupation given as Railway Goods Guard. Mother's name given as
Minto

record of William Gibson Harley, born November 13th 1886 in Dunfermline.
David's occupation given as Railway Goods Guard. Mother's name given as
Minto.

1891
Census record for the family, at the time living in Dunfermline. David's
occupation is given as Guard (Railway)

Birth
record of Aminto Gibson Harley, born August 11th 1895 in Glasgow. David's
occupation given as Engine Driver. Mother's name given as Aminto.

1910
Census record for the family : the family were living in Glasgow, with
the three youngest children still living at home, both boys being apprentice
blacksmiths and David still an engine driver. The two eldest girls were
no longer living at home.(Note that the youngest daughter, registered
as Aminto, is now Minto, like her mother!)

Minto
Harley died in Glasgow on July 4th 1927 at the age of 69, of "gangrene
of the foot." William was still living with his father, who outlived
her; both her parents were (not surprisingly) deceased.
