| William Jefferson was born June 10, 1832 in Barren Co. Kentucky, the son of George Washington Pursley. William and Sadonia left Barren Co. with William's father George and moved to Booneville, Indiana. They came back to Barren County for the funeral of his cousin, Joshua Davis Pursley. They had 8 living children, at the time of their death. The one who did not move with them was James F. Pursley........ |
