| Whilst everyone else was on their way home I still had a whole day to myself in Las Vegas. First I headed for the Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace hotel. I was very pleased to discover that they had a 'Ferry Porsche' in the lobby. The collection is as much as sales room as a museum, all the cars exhibited are for sale. |

| Next stop shopping! I headed for the Fashion Show Mall, I was very tempted but as most of my Dawn Dough had been spent at the convention I resisted the urge to go bankrupt in Saks and Macy's. Next I headed further up the strip to the Guinness World Records museum, it was oh so cheesy but amusing nonetheless. | ![]() |

OK, time for a sit down and something to drink. Where better than the observation deck of the Stratosphere tower? At 1,149 feet, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. It was nice to take a moment to relax and enjoy the views. This picture shows Paradise Rd on the left (Hilton & Hard Rock) and Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) on the right. |

I headed back to the Comfort Inn and spent the remaining sunshine hours by the pool eating my Subway lunch and soaking up the rays.

| Thrill Ride Time! Melanie was kind enough to give me her
unused tickets for the
Imax Rides at the Luxor.
I went on "In Search of the Obelisk", a thrilling Virtual
reality ride which I really did enjoy, thanks Melanie!
I also couldn't resist seeing the King Tut Museum, an authentic reproduction of King Tutankhamun's tomb. |

I finished my day back at the Hard Rock, Carie told me how nice potato tacos are so I had to give them a try (and another margarita!) Yum Yum, perfect end to a perfect weekend.
