| After dinner we returned to the convention room at the St. Tropez. A group photo was organised, there were very many cameras and it took some time but everyone was very patient, unfortunately we didn't manage to get everyone included. This is a picture from Molly's camera, sorry that there are some names missing. | |

Everyone got a piece of Dawn convention cake and another chance to look around the Grand Prize table and themed tables. I took some pictures of CJ's table and Elaine's Egyptian Extravaganza. Once again I find myself in total awe of the creative types!

| I was thrilled to meet (at long last) Joedi Johnson and her husband Cal. We had a chance to chat about Pippa. Some of you will know that Joedi is the author of two wonderful books about Pippa and Dawn. | |

| Fashion Show time! What fun, Elaine and Melanie chose to interpret the Egyptian theme, whilst Marilyn, Teresa, Dawn and Molly each recreated a Dawn Fashion. Well, the voting was very close, in fact we had to have a revote as Molly and Marilyn tied at first. In the end Marilyn triumphed as HTT Dawn in her Pink Fuzzy mini, I think it was the wig that did it! Retiring champion Molly showed true Dawn-devotion by hand applying each strand to her Glimmering Stardust gown and I was impressed by Dawns Rockflower fashion, especially her palms-up/stiff arm posture! | |

Excitement was building as the time for the Grand Prize Draw approached. Cal was put to work as MC and the tickets were drawn. There were heaps of prizes and I won some wonderful things! I was sooooo pleased :-) I must take this opportunity to say BIG THANKS to those who donated. Molly won the wonderful Sharon Utin doll, Queen of the Nile , Cal won the Checkerboard prototype doll but it seems it was stolen........... by Joedi! Carie won the Britannia Pippa made by Tracy Farrant in the UK, Carie told me she is worried, worried about Pippa addiction! |

SUPRISE! Finally we were all shocked to discover that each of us would get a Limited Edition version of Holiday Trimming, the Christmas Dawn from Checkerboard Toys. These dolls were a gift from Alex to the convention, how can we ever say a big enough thank you? I was truly bowled over, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you ..................

| The evening was drawing to a close and it was time to say our goodbyes and pack up our Dawn Goodies. I helped Molly pack away the Hawaii table and she was kind enough to give me some spares that I could take home as gift for some of my Pippa pals. It was very hard to say goodbye to everyone as I had only just started to get to know my new Dawn buddies. Roll on the next Dawn convention, I cant wait! | |
