Here are New Line's Celtic Light Cavalry (ANC6). I got these fella's so's I could fill out my Ancient Brit Light Horse elements. (I pulled them all apart to make Sarmations, used the Italeri Mongols instead and am having to put them back together again - hence the rather ragged appearance of my LH element atop this page! Suffice to say, I'm working on them. I've got till next Easter's Nats!

Note the 1/32nd brass rod javelin I added to my plastic rider and the balsa block under the horses hoof - these metal figures are considerably heavier than their plastic companions!).

These New Line riders are well done, all bare chested, one with a cloak, all with javelins and shields and fuzzy hair do's (!).

The horses were a little bit dissapointing only because I was after unbridled ponies for my LH elements, but instead got Celtic horses. Nice horses in themselves, (bit of flash, but that'll be easy to clean up). They should go well with HaT's Celtic Cav horses (and could be used for anything from Celt through to Roman through to Norman horses - as far as I can tell, they all seemed to have used similar tack), but they are just, well, a little too well dressed, so to speak, for what I was after. I've used these metal riders atop my 'once were light horse' [Esci Napolionic French] plastic horses instead (like I've done for my Polybian Roman command element though they're of course atop HaT's Roman horses...).
