Kunai:
 Das Kunai ist eine sehr praktische Waffe für Ninja. Es dient als Messer, als Schaufel, als Bohrer, als kleiner Hammer und als Wurfdolch. Als Wurfwaffe ist es sehr viel stärker als Shuriken. Deshalb bevorzugen viele Ninja das Kunai, auch wenn es auffälliger und schwerer ist.

Makibishi:
Ninja kämpfen nicht gerne direkt mit dem Feind. Ihre Absicht ist Spionage und nicht Feinde umzubringen. Deswegen sind sie im Flüchten ziemlich gut. Makibishi ist ein Teil ihrer Fluchtausrüstung.
Ein Makibishi ist ein kleiner Stachel. Wenn ein Ninja von Feinden gefangen wird, streut er viele Makibishi auf den Boden. Makibishi tun beim Drauftreten nämlich ziemlich weh ^^.
Es gibt auch eine andere Makibishi "Version", die beim Drauftreten explodiert. Die heißt dann Bakurai-bishi.

Kusari-Gama:
 Ein Kusari-Gama ist eine kleine Sichel mit einer langen Kette. Ein Ninja, der das andere Ende der Kette hält, dreht und schwingt es. Es kan Feinde schneiden, oder den Feind umwickeln. Es wird auch zum Entwaffnen benutzt, indem der Ninja die Waffen des Gegners mit der Kette umwickelt. Es hat eine sehr lange Reichweite. Allerdings bedarf es einiges an Trainig um ein Kusari-Gama zu benutzen.
Das Wort Kusari bedeutet Kette und Gama steht für Sichel.
Mnriki-Gusari, oder manchmal auch Fundo-Gusari genannt, ist mit dem Kusari-Gama sehr nah verwandt. Es hat ein Gewicht anstatt einer Sichel, so dass es den Körper des Feindes zerschmettert. Das Gewicht ist nicht so schwer, doch es ist sehr gefährlich, wenn man es schnell schmeist oder schwingt.

Shuriken:
Das Wort Shuriken bedeutet "eine Gefahr, die in der Handfläche versteckt ist". Alle Gefahren, die klein genug sind um in einer Hadfläche versteckt zu werden, werden so genannt. Es gibt viele Nebenformen in der Schärfe und Gebrauchsweise. Die einen sind Sternenförmig und werden mit Drehung geworfen (Wurfsterne halt ^^), andere wiederum sind Nadeln und werden einfach wie ein Wurfdolch geworfen.
Aber Shuriken können Rüstungen o. ä. nur schwer durchdringen. Ninjas werfen Shuriken eher auf Ziele ohne Rüstungen. Meistens wird mit Shuriken auch gleichzeitig Gift benutzt.

Ninja Schwert:
Ninja benutzen Schwerter, die (eigentlich, is aber nich immer so, siehe Zabuza) kürzer als normale Schwerter sind (also Kurzschwerter ^.^). Die heißen Ninja-to (Schwert des Ninja). Da es eine kürzere Reichweite hat, ist es günstiger es im Nahkampf zu benutzen (den Ninja in echt vermieden haben, nicht wie es bei Naruto oft der Fall ist, aber egal...).
Die Schwertscheide kann auch also Schnorchel (nicht lachen...) benutzt werden, so dass sich Ninja längere Zeit im Wasser verstecken können. Einige Ninja Schwerter haben eine zweite kleine Schneide im Griff, um den Feind zu täuschen.

Kunai:
The kunai served several purposes, primarily as a utility knife. The kunai tip was sharp with very dull edges. It measured from seven to sixteen inches in length.  The kunai originated during the Tensho Era (1573-1591). The kunai was often tied to the end of a rope fo further its uses  The kunai was used to help climb trees and walls, and throw while tied to a small cord or knot.  The kunai´s main purpose was for probing, digging, and chiseling.  

Makibishi:
Ninjas don't like it to fight directly with their enemy. Their aim is spying and not to kill enemies. That's why they're very good in running away. Makibishi are a part of their escape equipment.
Makibishi are little prickles. If a ninja is catched by enemies, he scatters lots of Makibishi on the ground, cause Makibishi are very painfull if you step on them ^^
 There's another Makibishi "version" which explodes when you step on it. That's called Bakurai-bishi.

Kusari-Gama:
A Kusari-Gama is a little sickle with a long chain. A ninja who holds the other end of the chain, draws and swings it. It can cut or wind enemies. It is also used to disarm as it wins the enemy's weapons with the chain. It has a very long reach. But it needs a lot of practise to be able to use a Kusari-Gama.
 The word Kusari means Chain and Gama stand for sickle.
 a Fundo-Gusari is related to the Kusari-Gama very closely. The only difference is that is has a weight instead of a sickle so that it smashes the enemy's body. The weight is not very heavy but it's dangerous if you throw or swing it fast.

Shuriken:
Ninja shuriken or shaken were hand released blades thrown at the enemy for distraction purposes.  Sometimes the blades were poisoned to cause death. The shuriken was used to hit the enemy then bounce away unseen. This gave an almost magical effect for the ninja. The ninja shuriken was among the favorite toos of the ninja.  Though mostly thrown the shuriken could be used as a hand weapon for in close combat.  The shuriken would penetrate skin up to one half inch.  This behind the hand knife could easily be concealsed about the person or environment.  The shuriken were carried in a variety of ways all utilizing concealment and surprise.  There are a number of different types of shuriken, among the most popular are the manji (swastikaa), hara (flat), sanpo (triangle), juji (cross), happo (star), tatamijuji (folding cross), and the bo (straight). The shuriken was thrown in thre basic ways, one from the front (omote), two from the side (yoko), and the third from behind (ayaku).  These three ways did not limit the ninja´s capabilities in any way however.

Ninja Sword:
Ninjas use swords which are shorter than "normal" swords. They're called Ninja-to (ninja's sword). Cause it has a shorter reach it's easier to use in close combat (they don't like close combat but sometimes they can't get out of the way).
The scabbard can also be used as a snorkel (don't laugh...), so that ninja can hide in the water for some time. Some ninja-tos have a second little scabbard in the handle to cheat the enemy.
