Roger Gößmann (Schweinfurt, Germany) writes, "The first album of Ken Hensley's solo work I bought was a Best Of compilation consisting of the first two albums he has done (Proud Words and Eager To Please). And hearing it for the first time I immediately thought David Byron sings on it. After reading in the booklet and having discovered that David is not singing on the album I couldn't believe it. I was very impressed by the work Ken Hensley did on these albums. There are only a few songwriters in the music world that impressed me that much. One of them is Paul Rodgers. I have great respect for musicians who write or... create their own music and record them. It is much easier to copy great songs from other artists. Ken Hensley is also a multi-talented musician and a good performer. I like also his last solo album Free Spirit. The song Mystery is a great one. No More is fabulous. This album sure has some weak spots but I like it, because it is a handmade true statement of musicianship. I also bought From Time To Time and again was amazed about the quality of the songs. I am unhappy with the booklet, wich is in fact a folded piece of paper with good photos and good liner notes. I prefer a normal booklet because it is better to handle."
