Still 'Eavy Still Proud: Two Decades Of Uriah Heep

Overview: An excellent collection of live and studio tracks from the 1980's, all but one of which are previously unreleased. The reissue is a vast improvement over the original (see the Original Liner Notes page for the original, and inferior, running order). The highlight of the album is the previously unreleased I'm Alive Again, a great rocker reminiscent to some of the better rockers from the Lawton era. It's also nice to at last have studio versions of Pacific Highway, Mr. Majestic and Corina. These may be demo versions but the quality is quite good. Split Image is considerably longer than the previously released version and Pete Goalby's voice is more in tune on this version of Valley Of The Kings.

The problem with this release are the tracks from Live In Moscow. Easy Livin' could have at least been an alternate version while there are already alternate versions from the same concerts of Too Scared To Run and Corina on Raging Silence. Surely there must have been some other songs that could've been put here! Better yet, more songs from the Central Television concert! Grade: A-

10. Valley Of Kings - (recorded during the 1981 Ridge Farm sessions, previously unreleased)
11. I'm Alive Again - (previously unreleased song recorded during the 1981 Ridge Farm sessions)
12. Pacific Highway - (previously unreleased 1987 studio demo recording and mix)
13. Mr. Majestic - (previously unreleased 1987 studio demo recording and mix)
14. Corina - (previously unreleased 1987 studio demo recording and mix)
