I have been showing dogs since 1985 and doing obedience since 1970. I started with Labradors, and changed to German Shepherds in 1983,then went back to Labradors in 1994, when I met my husband Rob. In 1996 I brought a Standard Poodle,(something I had always wanted) and showed her for 2 years. Unfortunately, she had a real problem with judges touching her tail, so I had to stop showing her 4 points short of her title, and she is no longer living with us.
