The chronicles of me

My name is Briony Gryphon. I was born in Dublin Ireland but lived the last four or five years in North America. See my mum was having difficulty taking care of me and my brother Hunter. My mum's a single parent, my dad left before I was born. After a while mum started having difficulty taking care of her aging children (me and Hunter) so she sent us to live with Aunt Janey in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. So when I was about 13 me and Hunter took a trip over seas. Newfoundland was a nice place. Alot like Ireland it was. Very nice place. Only thing I missed were the moors. Newfoundland was all barren and rocky rather than grassy. St John's wasn't a bad place either. It was no Dublin I assure you, not near as much happening but it was a nice little city. Very traditional that Newfoundland is. Anyhow, I still hadn't forgiven my mum for sending me away. Hunter went to see her on holidays and such but I stayed with Janey. I had good friends there. People like Jimmy, Jennifer, Steven, Krista, Meegan, and Gerald. When I was 16 (I'm 18 now) we moved to Roanoke, Virginia, USA. Janey got a job at this science place, Hunter started work at Mc Donald's and I got very miserable, worse so then when mum sent me away. Making friends was a chore being done with a broken vacuum. In other words, it wasn't happening. Not because I wasn't trying mind you, it was because the other kids didn't seem to want it to happen. Don't tell anybody this but I even tried out for the cheerleading squad to try and make friends. After a few failed attempts I just sort of gave up. My brother feels bad for me I think because he's always trying to get me to do things with him and his friends. He's only a year older than me... but still. I need my own friends. Anyways, I'm going on to my Senior year now. Things may turn out for the better. Hunter's friend Daniel is moving down with his family (Daniel and his brother Francis are very cute). That means Francis will be going to school with me next year. Erg... I just remembered. Janey and Hunter are teaming up to make me go to camp.
