SWEET AND SPICY SHRIMP

BEER BATTER FISH FILLETS

 

1 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

¾ cup beer

½ cup milk

2 eggs

1½ - 2 1bs fish fillets

Vegetable oil for deep frying

 

Mix flour, salt and baking powder.  Add beer, milk and eggs.  Mix well.

Place fish fillets in batter, coat well and let stand for 15 minutes.

Heat fryer to 375°F (190°C).  Place fish in oil and fry until golden brown.  Cook in batches to maintain oil temperature.
