The Gabriel Kney Pipe Organ at Christ Anglican Church On October 2, 1975 a fire caused extensive damage to the interior of the church, destroying the existing organ. The interior refurbishing was completed in March 1976 and on February 6, 1977 the new Gabriel Kney pipe organ was dedicated. At the time of the Tracker Organ Revival in America, in the late 1950s, Gabriel Kney was the first Canadian organ builder to again build mechanical (tracker) action organs. The organ at Christ Church, Opus 82, is an outstanding example of the visual and tonal character of his instruments. Gabriel Kney Pipe Organ 1976 Christ Anglican Church
