Ministry of Parish Education Atrium (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd)Supportive adults, with a passion for nurturing a sense of God for children, are trained with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. A catechist and a helper are scheduled each Sunday morning to be with the children. Typically the children will go directly to the atrium when they arrive at church and remain there during the service. We make every effort to look for occasions when the children will be present and contribute to our regular worship — although this does not happen every week — and our clergy spends time in the atrium with the children on occasion. Nursery-aged Child CareCare is provided, by adults, on Sunday morning for children up to the age of 3.

They are scheduled to read the first and second readings for the 10:30 a.m. worship service and commit to preparation and occasional training workshops to assist them in this role. Membership is open and fluid. Watch for announcements. Other program opportunities are available through the Viriditas (Centre for Creative Spirituality).
