Dinah plays herself in one episode of the sitcom Blossom. While sick with the flu, Blossom falls asleep and dreams that she is a famous, obnoxious rock star who is having a dockumentary made of her life and career which features interviews by other celebrities, Dinah being one of them. She tells of the time when Blossom came to her acting class and everyone made fun of her.
Their minds changed, though, when Blossom performed a scene from Thelma & Louise and drove a car right through the studio. Here is what Dinah says:
"Yes I remember...I remember the first time Blossom came to may acting class. We all made fun of her like, 'oh now she's gonna be an actress!' But then she did the final scene from Thelma & Louise, both parts, and actually drove a car through the wall of the actor's studio. And I said to myself, this chic has range!"
The entire dream sequence is shown in black and white, which is evident in the pictures on this page. Other celebrities "interviewed" include Dick Clark, Tori Spelling, David Faustino of Married...With Children, and Don King. During the closing credits, Dinah's Empty Nest costar Dreyfuss has a short cameo.
