"Interview with an Angel"
Dinah plays cynical tabloid reporter Callie Martin in this episode from 1995. Callie has a great idea for a story: to prove angels exist. She runs an ad in the tabloid reading "Have you seen an angel?" Monica (the main character in the series) answers the ad and tells Callie that she is an angel and she'll prove it to her by telling her a story over lunch. So Monica tells her the story of one of her previous cases concerning a doctor whose children were killed by a drunk driver. 
The doctor is needed to do a heart transplant on a patient, but refuses to do it when he finds out that the man who is receiving the heart is the man who killed his children. Callie doesn't think the man should even be given the chance to receive a new heart at all. Monica eventually shows the doctor that she's an angel sent by God and convinces him to perform the operation, which saves the man's life. At the story's end, Callie thinks it is just a sick fairy tale Monica invented using real people and still refuses to believe in angels. She leaves the restaurant, throws her tape of the interview with Monica in the garbage and steps into the street. 
She sees Monica standing on the other side of the street and, confused by that, stops and looks back toward the restaurant. She is then almost hit by a speeding bus but a man pushes her out of the way just in time. As she gets up she sees that the man who saved her is the drunk driver from Monica's story (she had called her office asking them to bring info about the incident during lunch, which is probably how she knew what he looked like). She rushes to get the tape out of the trash but sees a man emptying the trashcan into a garbage truck. She yells to stop the truck and sees Monica standing on the back of it holding the tape. She tosses it into the air and it turns into a dove. The End.
