| Chick one two and three are healthy and doing fine. The first chick has black markings on it's wings and head and is blue also with white wings . Chick two is all white with black eyes. Chick three is a lutino hen. Last updated 9/18/01. Chick 4 was not healthy, the mother threw it out of the nest and I tried hand-feeding it but it died Chick 5 was killed by the other hen. Chick 6 was not getting fed by the mother and died Chick 7 never hatched. |

| On August 14 an unfortunate accident happened : Our favorite albino bird Pretty Boy flew out the window with Dotty , leaving three chicks in the nest. I am now caring for the chicks feeding them every two hours and that is no cup of tea! But I am glad to say that the chicks are all growing fine and the oldest two are also eating on their own. I have a few pictures of the chicks here. |
