This page is not intended for anyone to find or use; it merely collects all the pre-"optimized" pages in one unobtrusive page. If you find yourself here, the thing to do is go immediately to my main page.
In Dec 2006 I bit the bullet and began my search engine optimization campaign. This will involve many filename changes. I decided to keep pages retaining the old filenames on my site. These pages with the old filenames are just skeletons that link to the "optimized" (haha) page. These are my reasons for doing this.
In a few cases, other web sites link to my pages, and there may be more instances of this than searches for backlinks indicate. (For example, both scrab.htm and fermi.htm have links to them, but Google's backlink turns up nothing.) And even if a page has no link to it, someone may have it bookmarked. The old pages showing no page rank at least have some, and I might as well pass it on to the "optimized" page.
This page also collects various "retired" pages, for the same reasons as above.
