1988 Thunderbird LX Interior

The interior to say the least is plain yet Lavish especially considering the year was 1988 ( 15 years ago ) the LX model on my car sports Very comfortable split bench seats.. full power.. The rear seats are like sofas..you sink in and fall asleep, they are being reapolstered to black along with the roof and carpet.. when you sit in the front you are greeted by a complete Digital cluster including.. Speedometer,Tachometer,Gas,trip meter,MPG meter..and more.. you can also switch from SI or metric.. ex. MPH/KPH.. very nice indeed. It also has digital climate control, auto dimming headlights, power antenna switch below the wheel and cruise control on the wheel.. as fun as all this is.. it is all going! well most of it.. the digital speedometer is a pain in the ass when it messes up.. so it will be switched to aftermarket analog gauges, the seats soon to be some sort of black leather racing, 3a or whatever, dont know what im going to do about the power windows, but the A/C is going ( damaged in accident) waste. I hope to re do the dash front with diamond plate or polished steel. the interior is still up in the air right now..
