Lost World Version History
If I seem to skip versions, those were changes that I did not post on the internet. From 1.3 to 1.6 I did not post. Versions include both graphics, layout changes, etc.

1996, Sept- v0.1 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Three buttons -Fics, Pics, Links. Used background called akafade.gif. For some reason only gif images would work.

1996, Dec- v0.2 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Created the actual 'Lost World' with banner of chibi-Ryouga lifting a globe. All graphics done in Windows Paint with IPhoto Plus converting to jpg format. No invisible gifs. Fics were presented by Author's name, with the fics following. Authors were seperated by <hr> tags. Used background stars2.gif with strong red text on all pages.

1997, Jan- v0.4 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Began using a new background, text became easier to read. Began to change from stars2.gif variable backgrounds on all pages. Began using a simple Guestbook and urging everyone to sign. Began playing midi file 'Kyodai.mid' and wav file 'Where.wav'.

1997, Aug- v0.5 at fortunecity.com/marina/christian/121/. New background and format. Pages recieved background depending on the author. Pages were renamed and ordered for best access when editing.

1997, Oct- v0.8 at fortunecity.com/marina/christian/121/stories. Began using #href tags with the authors name's to scroll down the page faster. Still used Geocities guestbook.

1998, Jan- v1.0 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Finally released v1 which was the first time I used the author's names to link to seperate pages. Changed from Fortunecity because of a distinct dislike, although I was beginning to dislike Geocities as well.

1998, Feb- v1.1 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Added a few more people, and gave each sub-page its own distinctive look. I'd lost RPM and Rain Song in the move. I re-added them back through a link to the other page. Began using Dream Book instead of Geocities Guestbook due to Dream Book's enhanced abiltities.

1998, Apr- 1.2 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Began changing links around. Switched from dark blue-black bg to a lighter white-blue. Page still seemed messy. Stopped using 'Kyodai' and 'Where' due to load-time problems.

1998, May- 1.7 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Created new bg and banner. Renamed page 'Myrriden's Lost World of Ryouga.' After three weeks of that I notified people I would be closing the Lost World. A friend who went by Dragonhalf offered to support it, but he never contacted me afterwords. It stayed on hiatus for about a year while I recovered.

1998-99, June- Page on hiatus. No additions, no changes.

1999, Aug- v1.9 at oocities.com/tokyo/dojo/6757. Geocities' merger with Yahoo snapped by patience. I began fishing around for a new server. Found two seperate ones, thedragon.iwarp.com, and redrival.com/myrriden. The page at Geocities described what was going on, and was essentially simply with a link to the old mirror site at Fortunecity.

1999, Sept- v2.0 at redrival.com/myrriden. Missing a few of the old, new black bg Restored to using the old form of storing: a big _list_ of authors and the fics. Began using the 'pbwee' name for the bg. Began using Photoshop for graphics.

1999, Dec- v2.3 at redrival.com/myrriden. Most of the links came back, but I changed bg to white.

2000, Jan- v2.4 at redrival.com/myrriden. Began using JavaScript on the page, changed the bg back to black, added a link bar to the left with roll-over pictures, and shortened the main page dramatically. Each author had their own page, banner, and background. Changed "Dream Book" to "Dream Bukii".

2000, Feb- v2.5 at redrival.com/myrriden. Changed the bg back to white, removed the link bar and rollover. Changed each page to use 'Layers'. The index page had a huge system of buttons and links, and I began using tables in earnest. I really liked this version, but nobody else did, and I got nothing but complaints.

2000, Mar- v2.7 at redrival.com/myrriden. After a failed v 2.6 I began using a table and textual links. I got rid of the layers on most pages.

2000, Apr- v2.8 at redrival.com/myrriden/ryouga. Began using a smaller pbwee background, and a smaller banner. Tried to make all index pages small enough to fit onto one screenful.

2000, Apr- v2.9 at oocities.com/~doukiba. Created a mirror of the Lost World.

2000, May- v3.0 at redrival.com/myrriden/ryouga. Began using a different pbwee background with Ryouga as the face. Used a tables system with the text links to organize them. Made the page compatible with nearly all resolution. Created new section "Guests".

2000, June- v3.2 at redrival.com/myrriden/ryouga. Changed the background to a smaller image of p-chan. Began color-coordinated all the graphics. Used a new font for the banner. Finally fixed most the the links problems.

2000, September- v3.3 at redrival.com/myrriden/ryouga. Recreated each person's page, added Ashes2Ashes, added Version History. 2001, March- v3.3 at redrival.com/myrriden/ryouga. Added a few more fics, including Keener's Suicide Blast 5.

2001, April- v3.4 at envy.nu/seraphdragon/ryouga. When Redrival deleted my account without warning, I was forced to quickly transfer everything over to a new site. I took the opportunity to re-tool the webpage a bit, although I forget the exact changes.

2002, October- v3.5 at ????????. Envy.nu failed to meet my expectations. Retooled the navigation, looking for web-hosting service that can support the Lost World.

2003-'06 - v3.5 at oocities.com/doukiba/ryouga. The mirror site bacame the 'main' site. I changed the menu to a javascript bar that, at first, seemed really cool. Eventually it got on my nerves. However, the page went on hiatus for a long time.

2007, Febuary- v3.6 at oocities.com/doukiba/ryouga. After more then four years on hiatus, the page is back with a new format, but the same location. Got rid of that damn bar, and switched to what I think is a cleaner layout. Seperated sections by 'series' 'authors' and 'one-shots' so people can quickly get to the section they want the easiest. This version of the page seems to load faster and cleaner, and I'm very pleased with it over-all.
