THE GATEWAY TO EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS - This great site will search for lessons in any grade or subject area.  Just give a couple key words and select a grade or subject and you get lots of lesson ideas. 

BARTLEBY LIBRARY - High school English teachers should bookmark this site, which features classic 19th- and 20th-century English and American literature.

CLASSROOM CONNECT - This site offers a wealth of information for teachers looking to add a little bit more technology into there classroom.  They also offer great links in various subject areas every month, and always have their Lesson Plan Goldmine.

ED'S OASIS  - Lesson Plan Library--a well-organized treasure trove of Internet-based lesson plans, arranged by grade and school subject. 

EDUCATION WORLD  - This site is a great place to start, with its search engine for educational Web sites, lesson-planning center, feature articles on hot educational topics, advice on using technology in the classroom and employment listings. 

HOMEWORK CENTRAL: TEACHERS' RESOURCES  - Students aren't the only ones who can find help at Homework Central--it's great for teachers, too.  

THE MATH FORUM: TEACHER2TEACHER  - Dozens of discussion threads contain expert answers to questions. 

SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN: ASK THE EXPERTS  - Curious teachers can send in their own questions or check the archives to see which stumpers the experts have already explained. 


TECHLEARNING  - This site focuses on integrating technology into the K-12 classroom. 

THE VIRTUAL SCHOOLHOUSE  - Web tips and tricks, and browse professional development information in the teacher's lounge. In short, this site is a huge, nicely organized directory of links
