FOUNDING
The DBA is 33 years old and has been in
continuous operation since 1976.
NEWSLETTER
A club newsletter, the"Bass Line", is published 11 months per
year (December is excluded), and distributed to all
members.
BOAT REQUIREMENTS
The following are the minimum requirements for
a boat to be used in club events:
- Length – 14 feet
- Power – 9.9 H.P. outboard
- Electric trolling motor
- Depth sounder
In addition, boats must have all
required Coast Guard safety equipment.
STATISTICS
The club maintains the statistics of all bass
caught during club sanctioned events. Bass sizes,
numbers, lake location, dates, and other data is
available for use by the members.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Consumption of, or being under the influence of
alcohol or drugs is not permitted during fishing
events, or at meetings.
