Dr Kenneth

professor at the Institute of Communication Research at the State
of Pennsylvania University. As a doctor of anthropology and sociology
his research interests include Social Skills and Intelligence Correlations,
Recency and Primacy in Social Appeal and Nonverbal Rhetoric Persuasion.
Some of his selected
works include:
Personality correlations of sociability, Journal of Social Psychology
Vol 12
(Cambridge, Cambridge Press, 1998). P69 - 73
Rhetorics in Gender Communications, A Review and Critique of Social
Influence Theories Vol 44
(New York, Sage Publications 1999). P54 - 60
Personality and susceptibility to social influence, Journal of Commmnication
Vol 23
(New York, Hovland Publications, 2000). P23 - 34
Currently Dr Inkbeer is on a sabbatical around the world, conducting
experiments to prove that his latest theory of Socio-Intelligencia
is true. This theory states that intense levels of sociability and
intelligence are both interdependent and correlated.
Dr Inkbeer is recreating his experiments in various places around
the world. He recruits volunteers from each place and brings them
together in highly sociable environments, for example party situations.
He will then put these volunteers through a series mental and physical
challenges designed to measure their intelligence quotients.
Dr Inkbeer has also set aside part of his research funds to reward
the smartest volunteers, who have proven his theory to be true,
with a trip around the world. So far, his experiments in Europe,
North and South America have shown some very encouraging results,
but he still needs an Asian sample population. Dr Inkbeer has chosen
Singapore as his Asian stop, and he will arrive here in early 2002.
