Jiliam are small, slender dragons with numberous animal qualities. They are very loyal and protective like dogs and can also be trained to do many things such as carry messages and even race. Jiliam are dependant upon humans to provide shelter, food and water. In return Jiliam will provide affection.

Jiliam, just like other dragons, have various stages of growth. Egg, Hatchling, Adult and Elder. Only time dictates when a hatchling becomes an adult (1 month) and an adult to an elder (6 months). When a Jiliam reaches elder age it can no longer breed.

When Jiliam are hatchlings it is best to feed them dairy products such as yoghurt and ice creams of any flavours. As this aids in protecting thier most valued assets - their fangs. With poor fangs a Jiliam is better off dead. Each Jiliam needs to have strong, white fangs in order to survive to breed. Whilst they are capable of killing and consuming flesh at any age, it is advised to only provide meat when they reach adult-hood to ensure they have healthy fangs. However, if they do not recieve meat and bones when they are mature thier fangs will weaken and rot which can cause premature death. So please ensure every Jiliam recieves a balanced diet.

Jiliam communicate with each other by chirps, clicks and high pitch noises. However, like a parrot they are capable of mimicing human speech. They also have a small amount of comprehension for simple tasks and questions. However they prefer to screech rather than talk. It is not uncommon for a Jiliam to demand your attention by calling your name.

Jiliam do not have ranks or leaders amoungst themselves as they depend greatly upon their human companion for rules and guidance. Like other types of dragons they are capable of 'breathing fire', however for Jiliam it is just like using magic. Magic is hard to class and to type however the manipulation, power and accuracy is easy to class into difficulty levels. Each Jiliam is classed upon how well they can use thier magic. eg. The lowest level is Novice Fizz Maker etc. For more levels try breeding your Jiliam. Jiliam only use thier ability to keep themselves and those close to them safe from harm with their owners permission. Each generation has a 50% chance of gaining a level of magical ability.
