Draconis Iejir's Charter and Guild's Hierarchy

....

1) Draconis Iejir is a guild for mature gamers.  However, 'mature' doesn't mean old and boring.  There's a line between online behavior that is funny and playful and that which is hurtful and offensive.  A mature player will know where it is and will endeavor not to cross it.  Be responsible for your actions to the rest of the guild.

2) Draconis Iejir does NOT condone 'dewdspeak' in any of its' incarnations.  If you enjoy using utterly confusing mixtures of  numbers and text to create 'l33t' words and phrases, you're in the wrong place.

3) Draconis Iejir is 'guildcentric' where possible.  This means that we will make every effort to include all guild members, regardless of level or class, into planned guild hunts, raids, events, etc.  However, partial guild groups and unplanned 'pick-up' groups will from time to time either be full and/or find themselves in a spot that just isn't easy to get into or out of.  In these cases it is understandable that those guild members currently in the group may not be able to either split into multiple groups to accommodate more players, or leave the group they are in and reform with the rest of the guild.  Again, every effort will be made to include everybody in everything, it just isn't always possible.

4) Draconis Iejir has an open recruitment policy until further notice. This means that anyone that is interested in joining us deserves the chance to come in and see what we're about - OK, almost anyone. Let's face it, the clown spamming the zone in /yell begging for 'whatever', probably isn't going to make it here. Nor are the people who spam the zone asking for free stuff, and then curse at everyone when they don't get it. Don't waste our time inviting these folks.  Our invitation process is a simple one.  If you're an officer (Dragon Avatar, or Dragon Knight) you don't need any authority other than your own judgment.  If you see someone that wants to join and you feel good about them - put them in.  If you're not an officer, just send a message over the guild chat that 'So and So' would like to join us and an officer will contact them.

5) Arcane Justice will maintain a competent staff of officers (as so judged by the GM) who have invite and promote authority.  The number of officers will fluctuate as needed but be a minimum of 25% of the total number of guild members.  Distinct responsibilities may be assigned to these officers if necessary.

6) Arcane Justice adheres to a 'need before greed' loot distribution policy.  If two or more members have equal 'need' a random can be used to fairly distribute the bounty.  Don't worry, another "Indispensable Helm of Invulnerability" will be dropping soon.....

7) Any action subversive to these covenants or their intent can be grounds for dismissal from the guild at the sole discretion of the GM's.

8) Any member who is inactive for one month will be demoted to Dragon Whelp. After two months time as a Dragon Whelp, inactive members will be dismissed from the guild. If there are extenuating circumstances for why you will not be online for three months, please let the GM or one of the Co-GM's know.

Most of the charter rules came from my old guild of Arcane Justice....I liked their rules so much, I figured I'd use most of them for Draconis Iejir. If anyone is offended by this, please let me know, and I can always change it. I just figured it was put so eloquently the first time, why change it?
