A precious heritage

Elaine and I were close to the same size, and I shared her love of costuming. I was overwhelmed when she left me her wonderful collection of costumes.

For this year's trip to the Renaissance Faire, I chose a long green gown with gold trim and magnificent sleeves that drooped to the ground. Jackie told me that Elaine had purchased it at a Renaissance Festival in 1997, but hadn't had a chance to wear it before she died. It seemed only fitting to make sure that it was worn in her honor!
