After Nappa and Vegeta being defeated, Goku, Krillin, are at the hospital recovering, while Bulma is looking for a ship to fly to Namek in search on new dragonballs. Bulma has a remote to the saiyan space pod and presses a button and the space pod self destructs, but Mr. Popo has another ship that they can fly to Namek in. Goku cannot come along because he is injured to badly and needs to heal, but Bulma, Gohan, and Krillin will go. Mr. Popo takes Bulma to the ship that Kami came in as a boy. The next day they say there good byes and head off to Namek, a two month journey.
Bulma, Krillin, Gohan are in space when they run into these little people from some place freeza destroyed, they befriend them and show them some things, after that Bulma and the gang land on a planet. They think that is it Namek, but it isn't. Rachi and Zakaro have the ability to create illusions, they trick the Z warriors and nearly escape with there ship. Bulma, Gohan, Krillin are off to namek the real Namek. They land, and Gohan and Krillin think it looks much like the earth, but there are signs of trouble. They spot Vegeta, Vegeta is on Namek in search of the dragonballs. Even bigger problems await them, Freeza is there, the most powerful being in the universe. Back on Earth Korin gives goku a senzu bean, Goku is healthy again and is off to Namek, in space pod where he is trainging at 100 times earth's normal gravity.
Freeza's minions Dodoria, Kuwi, and Zarbon are all killed by Vegeta.
Nearly all the nameks are destroyed by Vegeta and Freeza. Vegeta meanwhile manages to escape with the dragonballs, Freeza sends Zarbon after him, where he dies. Freeza calls in the Ginyu Force to do his dirty work, they beat up the Z warriors and Freeza has the dragonballs, but he cant make a wish, cause it has to be said in namekian. Goku arrives and whoops Recoomes ass, same with Burter and Jise runs off like a punk to get Ginyu.
Goku and Ginyu get it off and are grappling. Ginyu is no match for Goku as he shows Ginyu. Since Ginyu knows that he can't defeat Goku, he punches himself and injures himself bad, then he shoots a beam into Goku's mouth. When this is done Goku's mind is in Ginyu's broken body while Ginyu is in Goku. After Vegeta kills Jise he talks some trash to Ginyu and beats up on him, but Ginyu tries the change techinque again and Gohan throws a frog in front of Vegeta. Ginyu is now a frog, and Goku is restored, but injured badly.
Dende, Gohan, and Krillin got ahold of them dragonballs and makes a wish while goku is recovering and vegeta is asleep. They wish for Piccolo to revive and come to namek. The third wish was interuptted, cause Guru dies. After Freeza realizes that his chance of wishing are over he gets po'ed about it. Freeza and Vegeta go at it and there pretty equal, but Freeza morphs, and Vegeta is now match. Freeza nearly kills Krillin, Gohan is enraged and beats the hell out of Freeza, but to no avail. Finally Piccolo arrives and Freeza isn't match for Piccolo and Nail, they start whooping on them then freeza changes again. This time its hideous, but very powerful. Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin are no match.
Freeza morphs into his final stage. Vegeta healed thinks hes an SSJ, but hes not and is cocky and gets his ass whooped. Vegeta is nearly dead when Goku arrives. There battle was long and hard, but Goku never gave up. Goku gathers enough energy for a Spirit Bomb. Goku thrusts the Spirit Bomb at Freeza, but it doesnt kill him, just made him madder. Freeza kills Krillin for sport and this triggers something in Goku.
This trigger causes Goku to turn super saiyan, Goku couldnt handle the anger and emotion he felt, and therefore, he went Super Saiya-Jin.
Freeza is no match for Goku when he is SSJ, Goku randomly beats on Freeza. Freeza creates a ball of energy that will make Namek explode in five minutes. Goku lets freeza get his full potential. Freeza is still no match. The battle heats up and Goku tells freeza hes now challenge, and man does this piss Freeza off. Freeza creates a destructo-disc type of blast that can cut through anything. Goku easily manuevers them and Freeza ends up getting cut in half. Freeza is nearly dead and Goku gives him some of his energy so he can live, but Freeza just couldn't take it and he tries to blast Goku. Goku then blasts freeza. Goku was trying to escape as namek exploded, he gets away in a ginyu space pod. He is off to planet Yardat.
Everyone is brought back to earth. Porunga revived Chiaozu, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha, but was unable to revive Goku. Goku survived and was trainging on another planet, learning the Shunkanidou. Vegeta decides that he to should train. Vegeta starts training in space, Vegeta is training at 300 times earths normal gravity, he is also training on the moon, and everything was cool on Earth.
