Hello everyone! So glad you came by! I'm an alumna (and sometimes teacher) at America's Best Family Martial Arts, and it really does rock! I've went there for 2 years, and been doing Tae Kwon Do for 7 years, with some Jujitsu, Arnis, and Kobudo incorporated. I started at American Black Belt Academy (ABBA Martial Arts) when I was 13, and have loved martial arts ever since.
Latest news!
April 2002: An ARMA (Association of Renaissance Martial Arts) is starting at my University. I am very excited. If you know me and are interested in either joining or just coming to hang out, get in touch with me :-)
On April 7, 2001 I and three other students tested for our Black Belts, and by unanimous vote we all passed; they got their 1st Degrees, and I got my 2nd. My team was wonderful, and the support from our peers was beyond what I'd hoped for. :-)

I put together a little song for the school, using some lines from Mr. Kim (the tall guy), and some I made up. I also wrote a little story based on something Mr. Arnold told us in class once. You can read them at the Library.

It's been just awesome, and I wanna let some people know I really appreciate them: Mr. Arnold, Ms Leigh, Ms Shelli, Ms Deborah and Mr. Scott, Mr. Van, Mr. Mark, Mr. Barin, Mr. Russel, Ms Cheryl, and all the other students who helped me and really made me feel like I fit in. And of course, my deep thanks to the members of my Black Belt team, Ms Sarah, Mr Kirk, and Major Kim. Last but never least, the person responsible for getting my hooked on Tae Kwon Do in the first place, Dr. Stephen F. Powell of ABBA Martial Arts, where I earned my 1st Dan.
