EPL Fantasy League - October Winner
Nov 01, 1999
The month of October proved not only to be the toughest yet but also highly unpredictable as all the players struggled to find their mark in their predictions. Nonetheless, this did not stop Simon from emerging top with 10 points, thanks to a fairly consistent play of Arsenal in the Premier League. Simon might have gone further ahead if he has not missed the prediction of one game.

Close behind him were Irwin and Joseph with 8 points, with Joseph having all 8 points coming from the 4 goals scored by Kanu. The lost of form of Man. Utd has also made it tough for Irwin to predict the scores. Ken Tong, last month's winner managed a modest 5 points. Wen Kong has 4 points thanks to 2 Tore Andre Flo strikes and rooted at the bottom is Marcus with 2 points, coming from Dwight Yorke's solitary goal this month. Liverpool has also its fair share of unpredictable results, winning games that they were not tipped to do so (1 nil win at Chelsea) , and not winning games that they were supposed to (1 all draw at Southampton). Star Defender Chin Hwee Weds
Oct 30, 1999
Chin Hwee who just got back from his German stint 2 weeks ago, tied the knot on Saturday with his long time beau Kelly. The wedding was attended by friends, relative and all his DFC teammates. It was reported that couple of Butterfly players were also spotted in the crowd. On a downside, no Bayern Munich officials were present, suggesting that the club may not offer the player a contract afterall. This will definitely be good news to his present club, who has missed his service for the last few matches.

The people here are good, canīt get the best footballer of the course award, hopefully can past the football training course report from germany. The picture on the left was taken during a recent Champions League game against Valencia, I came on as a substitute..anyone saw me in action? As you can see, the game was very physical, and yes, my hair has grown quite a bit since...hope to see you all soon...ciao...

EPL FS - Match of the Week
Sep 18, 1999
As agreed by the board of directors in the last minute meeting held on saturday, 18 sep, 11.30am, there will be a match of the week section to be added to the fantasy league of the draggies There will be no change to the existing format but to add on to the excitement, each one of us will put in our prediction for the match of the week.

The match of the week will be decided by Premiere 12. Any match shown on the Big Match on Saturday and/or Sunday will be included. If the match happens to be Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U or Spurs, then you get a chance to earn double the points by putting in the same predictions or you may choose to put in a different prediction to increase your chances.

The points system will be the same. 3 points for W/D/L prediction & 5 points for correct score prediction I will try (subject to me getting the Premiere 12 Big Match fixture) to send the match to be telecast live to you guys on Friday & the cut off time for submission of prediction will be Saturday 12 noon, to our league website master & copying the rest.
