All updates for the month of January 2000
| 01/31/00- Final Update of the month! January is at an end, And I have new stuff for you. From now until probably the end of February(depending on the ammount of entries in that time period) I am having a coloring contest known as Scott's Coloring Contest. That's right, our friendly Dragon Tour guide, Scott, wants you to color him. If the contest goes over well, I'll make it annual. So go out there and tell others about the contest. I'll be waiting. ^_^ |
| 01/28/00- Renovation Complete! That's right I feel I've done enough work to be satisfied with what I have. That doesn't mean I'll stop updating. It means that I have taken down the construction signs and am very pleased with this format. Soon my traffic will increase (*fingers crossed*) and new visitors don't want to see those signs. I now have an F.A.Q. page. Though there are currently only two questions there, and they were only asked once, but I'm sure you may have those questions. Anyway, that's it for today and maybe a few more days.^_^ |

01/26/00- Again fooled around with the first page. You may have noticed.(duh) Removed a few unnecessaries. (don't worry, you won't miss it.) Also, I added a new Link on my links page.(made a new catergory for it.)(a non-dragon link though) I also put the dragon links on top. I also signed up with search engines so as to get more traffic to my site. I hope it works out. Well, that's it for this Dragon Otaku! ^_- Bye for now! | 01/24/00- Actually did something to the site. First of all I made a new button for my Photo Gallery. Next I scanned in a new doodle for my Originals Page. And I added that really cool background (If you're wondering where I got it; I made it myself). I had fun doing those. That is what happens when I take some time off from the site. (ok 3 days, It's hard to stay away) Well that's it for today. ^_^ |
| 01/21/00- I did some small updates yesterday. You can now fill out a form to win the Award that I offer and I recreated the link to my Awards page.(I remembered that I had left that one out when I rearranged my first page.) But today I finally started episode 3 of The Teflon Sword. I had too many other things on my mind getting in the way. I'm happy I got it started and the rest of the episode shouldn't be too hard to write. That's all, Bye for now. |
| 01/19/00- Just messin' around. Nope, no new pictures or anything like that. I just rearanged my index page. I'm expecting it will go through several incarnations before I'm happy with it. 01/17/00- I'm back and I noticed I forgot to change the update date last time. Silly me. ;^_^ Another thing, I did some updates yesterday and said nothing. | 01/14/00- Not Much of an Update. I now have a new Title graphic on my collected images page. Now here's something: I will not continue with The Teflon Sword (episode 3) untill I am done making the title graphics and buttons. There, It's out of my mind. I will get back to the story(I want to know what happens next). This way I know what to focus on and maybe it will go faster. Well, it's time to get crackin'. I'm outta here. |
| 01/11/00- Added some more scans of my originals. I still need to take the time to make those buttons & titles. It all seems worth it though. At least one person keeps visiting. Hey, tell your friends about this site. Take a banner and put it on your site. (whoa, now I'm freaking myself out.) It's all taking longer than I thought. Other News: Yesterday, in the mail, I recieved the Pokemon cards I sent away for.(The ones that you get for going to the movie) I saw the movie twice (I don't know why, It wasn't very good.) Anyway, they sent the whole Movie Promo set including the Dragonite, which is the only one I wanted in the first place.(getting Pikachu was ok though, that was my second choice) I now have a total of six Pokemon cards (five from the trading card game and one from Burger King). Yes, I like the show, It's kinda stupid. |
| 01/10/00- Got some new stuff for you. First of all, I now have a button on the index page. You probably saw that already. Second, there are three new originals. I took the time yesterday to scan those in. Other than that I'm still working on the things I need.(Buttons, title images, etc.) Once I have the buttons and the title images, I will take down the "kunstrukson" signs.(I love those things, they're just perfect) That's all for today. ^_^ |
| 01/08/00- Still working on it. I added a new title graphic for my Originals page I also merged the two originals pages to one.(no point in keeping them seperate) It takes a lot of time and thought to create those title images, so it's gonna be a while before I have buttons created. Hey, I noticed that the counter for my page has been going up faster than usual, Thanx for the traffic.(the new stuff must be working, don't ya just love scanners.) |
| 01/07/00- New Images! I made some spiffy new Title images for this page and for the Links page. Ok hold on, Mom anounced Pizza. Be back later to continue update. I came back, and, for humor's sake, I have left the last two statements. Still working on those special images. Also added anoter scan of a naughty drawing (It's not what you may be thinking) Oh yeah, I now offer a special award for sites I enjoy. It dosen't even have to be a dragon site. Other News: Last night, (or extremely early this morning) I drew my first dragon in 2000. Wow It's really cool. I'll scan it when I'm finally happy with it.(having trouble placing the tail) Went to KayBee Toys (great for cheap and no longer issued toys; I saw the Gargoyles Night Glider vehicle there today ,pitty I already have one) bought a little set of knights (appx 1/2 inch tall) and catapult that came with a little purple dragon. Almost bought something else. but I couldn't pass up the Dragon Ball Z comics.(hmm...addict?) Oh well, love ya! ^_^ |
| 01/05/00- I did some updates yesterday but didn't say anything. I'm redoing the whole thing. Not to worry, the main subject is still dragons. It is now more specifically my dragons. I will be doing a lot of offline stuff. I need to go learn some advanced html. I also need to scan like crazy. I will also be in the process of removing files(Especially the images that are other peoples' pieces.) I will keep the animations up, because my collection is extensive.(I will not be adding any new ones) The animations make great accents to web pages. Again, Wish me luck. |
01/03/00- Major Overhaul! With the help of my scanner and the PhotoDeluxe program that came with it, I can make it more worthwile for people come visit my site. I need more visitors. For that to happen this can't be your average, run of the mill, website. This parallel world that we call the internet is the domain of the individual. If I came to my website a short while ago, as a visitor, I'd glance at it and probably decide not to visit it ever again (unless it was by accident). Over the next few days I will do major updates. It may take weeks, but I promise to do it as often as possible. That means just about every day. Wish me Luck. |
| 01/01/00- Happy New Year! Looks as if we all survived the end of the world. That's right. All the good people ascended to Heaven....and the rest of us went on the net. Happy to be rid of those self-rightous twits. He he. Y2K(ugh, I've finally said it.) had no effect. Yes, welcome to 1900. (oops, I mean 2000. what was that?!) Anyway, to the site. More of my offline art and a few more links.(just music though) Some other news: I was watching the Rose Parade today and I saw three different floats with dragons on them. I thought that was really cool.(I just realized that sounded really cheesy. Sorry) |
