    Mr. Manabe told the police that Junichi and Ryo were responsible for the whole passport scandal. Mr. Akabane shot and killed the Taiwanese mobster and his men, and he also wanted to kill Junichi. With the help of Nanami, Junichi managed to escape from Mr. Akabane while taking his car and the bag of money. The two and Juri found Ryo and took him to the hospital.   Juri finally realized how important Ryo was to her, when she thought that he wasn't going to make it. Luckily, Ryo was able to be saved. Unfortunately, the hospital crew recognized them as "Wanted Criminals" and informed the police about them.
     Once again, they had to flee and sneaked out the back door of the hospital just as the police were arriving. Ryo and Juri were captured by the police, while Junichi and Nanami continued to run. They hid on the second floor of a church and woke up while another couple's wedding. They pretended as if they were attending their own wedding and took their wedding vows along with the wedding couple downstairs. Junichi searched his pockets for something to give to Nanami since, he didn't have a ring for her. Nanami asked him for his necklace, so he took it off his neck and put it on Nanami. She thanked him and they kissed.
     Junichi and Nanami decided to go out for a day of fun to forget about all their problems. They enjoyed themselves at the carnival, but their fun soon ended. Junichi had actually set up a meeting with Mr. Akabane to return the money in order to clear his name. They got into a Farris Wheel to get away from the crowd. Mr. Akabane pointed a gun at Junichi, wanting to kill him anyways, with or without the money. Out of desperation, Junichi threw the money bag out of their Farris Wheel and convinced Mr.Akabane to turn himself in. The police came and arrested both Mr. Akabane and Junichi.
     A year later...Junichi was working as a truck delivery person. He finally had a regular job and a wife, Nanami, waiting at home for him. She had just found out that she was pregnant and called him to tell him that she had a surprise for him when he returns home tonight. Ryo and Juri came over to their place to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Juri found out that Nanami was pregnant and told Nanami and Ryo that she was pregnant, also. Ryo was happy to hear that he was going to be a father. They decorated a miniature Christmas tree while waiting happily for Junichi to come home.
     Junichi went to buy a cake for Nanami. On his way home, a person walked right up to him and stabbed him with a knife. It was Mr. Manabe. He mumbled something about "a sweet revenge" to Junichi's ear and ran off. Junichi struggled to walk a few steps but fell on a pile of trash. He passed out for a short moment and woke up. He reached over to his cake for Nanami, and he lit the candles that were on it. "Merry Christmas...Nanami." Junichi whispered. "Nanami...Nanami!!!" He shouted her name one last time before he died. (TT's note: So sad...sniff. Why did Mr. Manabe have to kill him? He was finally happy.)
     A few years passed...Nanami sat watching her son, Junbun, (about 4 years old...I think) talking to some of his little friends. She was amazed by how much he was like his father, Junichi. She and their son walked off from the park. Junichi's voice was then heard saying that it was a miracle that he met Nanami and had a son with her. He also repeated what his son (also his favorite line)..."The hairs on my arm is connected to a red string which leads to you..."
