| A Ghost in the House: Tin Yau and his partner were assigned to bring back a triad boss back to Hong Kong from the Japanese Interpol. Ma Siu Ling (Joey Man), she arrived there to clean up something in the supernatural sense. She allowed her best friend, Chun Chun Wong (Kristy Yeung) to come along as a tourist. Siu Ling was hired by Ken (Ng Yuk Sau) assistant to Mr. Sakato to do this job. With some elaborate planning, the triad boss escaped from Tin Yau’s custody, after taking the Interpol office hostage and throwing Tin Yau overboard into freezing icy water. The amazing thing for Tin Yau was he lost the mob boss and his partner, got the Japanese officer killed, and got himself chained and thrown into icy water all in the same afternoon. Siu Ling and Chun Chun arrived at their destination, a small inn (famous for their hot spring bathhouse). There’s where the crime boss went to relax, unfortunately nobody told him about the spirit that haunts the place. For over last few years, approximately ten men have died of unnatural causes. Tin Yau arrived at the same inn, after using his keen sense of smell to track the boss down. While examining the location, Chun Chun came upon the room where the crime boss was staying, only to find his skeleton. Siu Ling and Tin Yau found out a girl who worked at the inn some 20 years ago died mysteriously where her blood was drained from her entire body. They teamed up with a local priest to capture the ghost. This also led to Chun Chun falling for Tin Yau, her version of a knight in shining armor. They were able to capture the ghost. The priest relinquished her trouble spirit after she told them who killed her (which turned out to be Ryuichi Sakato). Tin Yau looked for Ryuichi’s grave, only to discover it was empty. After returning from Japan, Tin Yau and Fok Sun moved in to apartment building owned by Chun Chun mom. |

| Mommy Dearest: At Chun Chun’s apartment building, a man named Ping and his mother lived a rather quiet life. He was a tailor, who made many clothing for the neighborhood at a very low price. His mom was not fond of their neighborhood from across the hall, calling the young woman, a whore and other hurtful names. One day at the park, Ping’s mom died and a mysterious woman (Pinky Cheung) who gave back life to his mother, only to tell him that he will regret this decision (do you want her back?). A few days later, a troubled teen decided to snatch up her mother’s birthday outfit from Ping, because she didn’t have the money for it. Ping caught her stealing, but decided to let the girl go and told her to pay back another time. The girl did return to repay Ping, but left in the hands of neighbor, Jing Chong (Edward To). Ping’s mom followed the girl thinking she did not pay and killed the teen without a second thought. To be continued.... |
