Vampires have been roaming the earth for many centuries. Many exorcists have fought to banish them, among them was a young Chinese female exorcist, Ma Don Na (Joey Man). She dedicated her life in ridding the most powerful vampire of them all, Chueng Sung. Meanwhile, Fook Kwok Wah (Eric Wan) was a Chinese freedom commander during the Japaneses's occupation of China in 1938. After gathering information on the whereabouts of the two elite Japanese general Sakato and his son, Ryuichi Sakato (Kenneth Chan), Wah and a small group of his men infiltrated the general's headquarter under military disguises. Wah dressed up as a low ranking guard at the entrance of the conference room, while observing the wereabouts of the generals. Wah and all of his men had planted bombs with timers and prepared to strike at anytime. After Ryuichi's encouragement speech, he and his father were escorted out of the building. As they were passing by a storage room, Ryuichi noticed two soldiers fighting...he immediately order his men to guard his father. Wah and his men strike at that time and bombs exploded everywhere. Wah killed the elder general when he pushed the man toward the restericted toxic room. As Wah was making his escape with smoke all around, Ryuichi was shooting at him and vowing revenge for his father's death. Wah narrowly escaped from the hectic scene and lay uncounscious near a small creek. A young boy, Fok Sun (Cheung Kwok Kuen) and his father were walking back to their village, when he noticed a man lying at the creek. The father noticed his Japanese uniform, and inquired if he was Japanese, Wah murmured weakly, "I'm Chinese" and fainted. For a few days, a village girl, Sau (Wong Oi Yiu), took good care of Wah while he regained his strength. Wah asked why the village was called, "Red Creek Village." Sau told the tale of a 1000 year-old vampire around this time, wakes from slumber and starts sucking people's blood and the amount of blood that runs into their creek turning it completely red. Shortly afterwards, Ryuichi and his men arrived, so Fok Sun took Wah up the hills to avoid being captured. Everyone in the village was killed, except for Sau. Wah came back to rescue Sau and reinforcement arrived. Ryuichi and Wah were sword fighting around the creek, a large amount of blood flooded into the creek, turning it bright red. Their battle lasted throughout the night. A soldier, who later Wah killed, shot Fok Sun. Just as Ryuichi was about to strike at Wah, a dark ominous figure leaped from behind and bit him. Ryuichi fell down the mountain. Wah and Fok Sun were bitten also. Out of nowhere, Ma Don Na, came to fight the creature, which happens to be Cheung Sung. She chased after it but lost its trail, by the time she came back, Wah and Fok Sun were gone. It is Hong Kong 1998. Cops are staking out a place for a suspect. They chased after the suspect thru heavy traffic, until he disappeared up a building. At the roof, the suspect was relieved, until Fook Tin Yau (Eric Wan) appeared out of nowhere pointing a gun at him. Tin Yau walked to the suspect handing his gun to the person, while he handcuffed himself to the suspect. Without a second thought, Tin Yau jumped off the side of the building, while all his weight was put on the suspect's arm. Tin Yau was able to get all the info that he needed from the man, so he removed the handcuffs and fell down. The true boss that they wanted was in Japan, so Tin Yau and his partner were immediately assigned to go there. Fok Sun now attended an elementary school where he wrote an essay for, "what I want to be when I grow up..." His teacher punished him for writing such fantasy and had to rewrite it, because he wrote, "I wish I look my age (a 68 year-old)." Afterwards, with his vampire power, Fok Sun used it to knock out a potential child molester from his friend. Tin Yau comes and said, "you used your powers again? Your teeth are showing again, huh?" Fok Sun simply smiled and said, "Yes." |
