02/18/01 - You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you will find, you get what you need.  Yea, enlightenment from the Rolling Stones. There was a popular book years back that was called something like, everything you ever need to know you learned in kindergarden. Well, I don't remember a thing about kindergarden. I love music though, I am inspired by it. And, I learn a lot from the words. The words stay with me. So many of life's issues are explored in song. And for me, it's easy to interpret. When you get frustrated, check if it's a need or a want that's messing you up. I'm pretty sure they are two different things. I think the frustration comes in by not being able to distinguish between the two. Now, maybe you can use some kindergarden skills here. A need is something you can't live without, with a want, you can. However, I believe everyone's needs are different. The trick is in respecting other's needs, as well as your own. There, it's a little less frustrating. Now, on to confusion ...
