We, the imm staff, try to be as fair as possible and have tried not
to make a million of do's and don't which make a lot of MUDs not fun.
Most of these rules are common sense and shouldn't be hard to follow,
BUT if they are broken punishment will be severely enforced (from stat
lowering to deletion and site ban) Ignorance is *NOT* an excuse.

RULES:

1) If you know of a bug, it should be reported immediately, and not used again. It is VERY illegal to exploit bugs. Characters found doing
so will face deletion.
To report a bug you should: Contact any Immortals who are on-line at the time of the discovery as well as writing a note on the "Bugs" Board to imm.

2) Use of scripts to attain levels, equipment, or gold is strictly  *Forbidden*. 

3) You are allowed to have ONLY 2 lines connected to the mud at one time.Playing more than two characters at the same time is illegal. This also refers to having more than two players logged into the MUD at the same time. You are welcome to have as many alternate characters as you like, as long as you are using each of them regularly. To save disk space and memory we ask that you ask an imm to delete the characters that you plan not to use.

4) We ask that you always show respect for the MUD that you play. In other words, don't advertise for other MUDs on Dreams are Forever or
illegally advertise Dreams are Forever on another MUD.

5) Assistance from Immortals is against the rules for both parties involved. Asking an Immortal to raise your levels, give you extra hit
points, or whatever, is not only annoying, but is against the rules.
Don't ask for help on things you can get yourself. If an Immortal offers to assist you in some way that you suspect is cheating, it is
your duty as a player to report this incident to the IMPs by a personal note.

6) Racism, sexism, and sexual harassment are not tolerated in any shape or form. One of the reasons Dreams are Forever is here is to allow players 
to escape real world pressures. Respect should be shown for your fellow Mudders at all times.

7) Profanity is not tolerated on any of the public channels of the MUD or on public message boards.

8) Flooding of any type will not be permitted. If you flood, either through connections or channel spamming you risk having your character 
deleted and your site banned. This is not acceptable under any circunstances. Connection flooding is disconnecting and then quickly recon 
-necting again over and over.

9) Disrespecting an IMM's request is against the rules. The IMM has the authority to do what he/she seems fit as punishment, but the IMPs
must be notified. 

10) Powerleveling is ILLEGAL, for more details see: help POWERLEVELING. 

11) Player Stealing and Player Killing is Illegal on Dreams are Forever. PKillers and PStealer will be jailed. See PKILL, PSTEAL for more details. 

12) Summoning a player to a dangerous place without that person's consent will result in jail-time.

13) Asking for battles is not permitted. Players who continue asking for battles after they have been told not to will be jailed for as
long as IMM sees fit. 

14) Sharing characters between players on a regular basis is not allowed. Remember, you will be help responsible for your character regardless of who else had access to it.

15) You have to watch Board 3 for changes and announcements.
