Drew Carey as "DREW CAREY"

Drew Carey, an under-paid member of management at Winfred-Lauder Department Store, lives the most typical, predictable life imaginable, but still, we continue to watch him on The Drew Carey Show. He wakes up, catches a carpool to work, and works a very thankless job, trapped in a cubicle. His work day consist of eating two, three, sometimes even four dozen doughnuts (you know I love ya Drew!), an occasional confrontation with the walking Avon kit known as MIMI, sending out memos and his favorite cartoons to Winfred-Lauder employees, and of course begging his boss, the Englishman MR WICK, for a raise and of course, not getting one. And then, there are those "secret dates" with his co-worker, Lisa, by the water-cooler; but that's a different story...

Then it's home for Drew; a run-down house in Cleveland given to him by his parents, but hey, he loves it. Equipped with a pool table in his backyard and a Buzz Beer brewery in his backyard, Drew has got it all. Whether he's playing pool with his buddies LEWIS and OSWALD, sitting at his kitchen table over  Buzz Beers getting women advice from KATE, or with the whole gang down at the Warsaw Tavern, Drew is truly a guy to be admired (well...sort of).

About Drew Carey:
Besides being one of television's brightest comedy sensations, Drew Carey continues to diversify his career with his cutting edge stand-up comedy, his successful debut as an author, another popular comedy series, hosting awards shows and a cable special he did last year. He holds the distinction of being one of the last stand-up comics to make his debut on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson and be called over to sit on the couch to chat with him. That was in November of 1991 and Carey's career has risen ever since. In his first season, Carey was awarded the People's Choice Award for Best Actor in a New Series. Carey is also known to television audiences for starring in the comedy series "The Good Life." He starred in two of his own comedy specials for Showtime, "Full Frontal Comedy" and "Drew Carey, Human Cartoon" and he has also performed on HBO's "14th Annual Young Comedians Show." Carey, who earned a CableACE Award for his writing of the Showtime special "Drew Carey, Human Cartoon," hosted the 1996 CableACE Awards Special and HBO's "Mr. Vegas All-Night Party." Carey's first book, Dirty Jokes and Beer, was released in 1997 and quickly became a best seller on the New York Times list. Carey hosted the 25th Annual American Music Awards this year and he is currently the Host and Executive Producer of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" the improvisational comedy series.
