It means that he is eligible to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and most state revenue departments using only your Power of Attorney and without you present. Why would you want to use an Enrolled Agent for your tax audit. During his employment with the Internal Revenue Service as a tax examiner, Dr. Buehne found that the old saying that "a Doctor who treats him/herself has a fool as a patient" applies to taxpayers.
