The band would like to apologize to the folks in Nebraska that were planning on coming to the show. The university had double booked the venue and had not bothered to contact the band untill a day or so ago. We will hopefully try to come out again. Sorry and thanks.

September 27, 2001

"No Such Place As Puppy Heaven is done. A release show is in the works as well. The band is very excited and are looking foward to supporting the EP on the road. Scott, Jon and Kevin will be on WESN 88.1's "Most Dangerous Rock Show" on the 30th at 10p.m. They will be playing some of the songs from the cd and also playing acoustic versions of other Drifter songs. Also keep an eye out for Drifter to appear on Victory Records website to be able to download "Above You Below You". Also keep checking the shows page for show updates.

September 2, 2001

Finishing touches are being done to the new Drifter EP. The EP will be called "No Such Place As Puppy Heaven" songs that will be featured are:

  • Above You Below You
  • P.O.T.O
  • Death of the Ballturit Gunner
  • Aborted Justice
  • Crush of Flesh
    The EP's release date has not yet been determined but look for it in late September or Early October at a release show.

    +Drifter+ will be recording the weekend of September 1st. The untitled EP will have Paul Brooks behind the board. He will also be co-producing with Drifter on the EP. Look for a release show for it.

    The shows that +Drifter+ was slatted to play have been postponded and or cancled. Sorry to anyone who was planing on tuning in or come out to a show. Check back in the middle of June to see what's happening.

    In keeping with tradition lead singer Josh and drummer/percussionist Kevin entertained their fellow classmates at NCHS's prom. The duo performed a new Drifter song entitled "This Song for You". If you weren't there to hear it you can tune it 88.1FM on May 25th at 12:00 A.M. When Drifter makes their first official show return by playing an acoustic radio show.

    April 26, 2001

    It is official. Drifter is back. After a long break Drifter is coming back to rock. Keep your ear's open for Drifter on WESN 88.1FM's "Most Dangerous Rock Show" where the guys from Drifter will be playing new and old songs.
