Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine
Chinese Medicine has been in existence for over 5,000 years. This ancient System of medicine uses sterilized fine needles, which are inserted through the skin to stimulate the body's healing process. There are over 2,000 acupuncture points each with different indications. The oriental medical system recognizes 3 pulses on each wrist. The pulse in combination with the appearance of the tongue, chief health concern, and health history are used to establish a Chinese medical diagnosis. The art & skill of acupuncture lies in identifying an accurate diagnosis and determining the corresponding points that are specific for your health condition.

The foundation of Chinese medicine is based on five elements: Fire, Earth, Water, Metal, and Wood. The elements correspond with the seasons, colors, tastes, emotions, and organ systems of the body. Chinese medicine is a complete system that works toward establishing balance in the body.

An acupuncture treatment can last from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the condition being treated. Typically 4 to 16 needles are used in each treatment. The number of treatments is dependent on the severity of the problem and an individual's response.

Homeopathic Medicine
Homeopathy cures in accordance with natural laws of healing. The process a physician uses to choose a homeopathic medicine takes into account the whole person, and not just the illness or disease. During a homeopathic intake physical symptoms are evaluated as well as the patient's mental and emotional well-being.

Homeopathy is a medical system more than 200 years old, which uses highly diluted substances that act to enhance the body's innate healing response.

Homeopathy is based on the "Law of Similars." It follows observations in nature and is different from the notion of opposing or killing invading illness. Curing by similars dates back to 5 BC to Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine. It was familiar to Paracelsus, the renowned 16th century Swiss physician, and formalized by Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. Dr. Hahnemann tested the "laws of similars" and established it as the cornerstone of a system of medicine he named homeopathy. Dr. Hahnemann stated: "Any substance that produces symptoms in a healthy person when given in full-strength form, will cure a sick person with the same symptoms when given in a very diluted minute form."

For example, when cutting an onion, the eyes may tear and the nose may run, producing a clear thin discharge in a healthy person. However, it can be used to treat someone suffering from a runny nose and tearing eyes when give in a small homeopathic dose. This is different from using an anti-histamine to stop the tearing eyes and runny nose.

Homeopathy doses not interfere with other forms of medication, is non-toxic, and has little to no side effects. Homeopathic medicines know as homeopathic remedies, treat a gamete of health concerns, including emotional disturbances such as anxiety and depression. It does this my addressing the source of illness not just the symptoms. Homeopathic medicine treats the vital force (known as Qi in Chinese medicine), which is the element that distinguishes a living creature from one the not. Homeopathic remedies assist the vital force in returning to a balance state and restoring health physically and emotionally.

Allergy De-sensitization
From a Western medical perspective, allergy is an overreaction by the immune system. In allergy De-sensitization, allergies are viewed from a wholistic perspective, based on Oriental Medical principles. An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity of one person to one or more substances that may be harmless to the majority of individuals. In the allergic person, the allergic substance (known as an allergen) is viewed by the brain as a threat to the body's well-being. From a wholistic perspective, an allergy can be defined in terms of what a substance does to the energy flow in the body. From this perspective, allergies can result in an imbalance of energy in the body, leading to a diminished state of health.

Allergy de-sentization uses specific techniques to help the body Not to respond to known allergens. It in non-invasive and can significantly reduce the body's allergic response or may eliminate the body's allergic response to an allergen completely. The techniques used by Dr. Lane to de-sensitize allergies is based on Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques or NAET for short. It was discovered by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad, a Chiropractor, Kinesiologist, and Acupuncturist and has become widely accepted as an alternative and effective treatment of allegories by the medical community, including MDs, DOs, Naturopathic Doctors, and Nurse Practitioners.
