I was born in Dallas, Texas in 1975. I lived in Farmers Branch, northwest of Dallas, until my family moved to East Texas after my first year of high school. In Farmers Branch, I participated in Little League, basketball, soccer and Boy Scouts. I earned my Eagle Scout Award shortly before moving to Tyler.

I stayed in Tyler for the last three years of high school. I took part in Academic Decathlon and National Honors Society. I also worked at Carmike Cinemas after school and on weekends.

After graduation, I moved to Houston to attend college at the University of Houston. During spring break of my senior year, I married Shanna. I graduated with degrees in management and marketing in 1998.

Later that year, just one week before Christmas to be exact, we moved into our first house in the western suburbs of Houston.

Our pride and joy, Kyle, was born on February 12, 2001. You can see pictures of this great kid in the photo gallery.
