This old photo collection from La Kim Anh is just great! See if you can recognize any of these old faces.. Actually, behind each of the original photos that I had chance to scan, there were names that were marked that corresponded to the people in the photo. Hats off for the nice job that is well deserved for La Kim Anh.

The following are the pictures of the party at Phung Chi Nhon’s house. Chi Nhon had sent them over for me to share with all of you. Sorry for “ngam” them this long. You might be very well familiar with some of the faces that always appeared in Ai Ban’s friends gathering down here in LA. Peimei, Peimei’s sister, Phung Chi Nhon, Ky Dung Tuong and so on. But there were two “new” faces in the pictures. The handsome gentleman with glasses and very stylish hair is our Bo Truong Bo Tai Chanh Luong Huy Khi (Henry Luong), any problem concerning $, and he will have the answer. The other person is Quach Chan Thai. A friend asked me who Quach Chan Thai is. Is he the Chung Vo Ky in “Co Gai Do Long”?  Why just “tai xuat giang ho”, but already make a name for himself? Well, now you have a chance to “chiem nguong” his “dung nhan”. To be honest with you, we are not so sure that Thai can be viewed as Chung Vo Ky, but oh boy, you will be so glad just to have a friend like him as your next door neighbor. Since his coming out of the shadow, many things around our reunion party have been carried on his shoulder. For him, missions are floating as  smooth as silk. We are so lucky to have him in LA, especially at the time of the reunion party.

Wow, the school is left unchanged for a quarter of century. The pictures bring back the memories as if they just happened yesterday.
Cheers,
Vince

     1. That corner of sky used to contain many innocent grins of our teenage years.
2. We wonder why the building is now vertically leaned roughly 5 degree to the right? To salute the re-visiting of one of our beloved Aiban’s friend?
3. Thanks, Banh Ngoc Linh.

Thai Kim Long stopped by LA on the way back to Canada tonight. So Luong Huy Khi decided to gather a few Aiban’s friends down here to meet with Long in a Vietnamese restaurant. Enclosed with this email are some of the photos taken at the time. Friends in the photos included: Peimei, Quach Chan Thai, Trinh Kien Minh, Thai Kim Long, Luong Huy Khi and his wife, La Kim Anh and her husband, Quach Hoa Cam and his wife, and Vuong Vi Nhon.

Wow, the food looked yummy ! Thai Kim Long should be put close to the food so that I can see him better ;-) I basically recognize most of you. The faces trigger my memory button of my wonderful school age.... Guys, that seems be a wonderful gathering. I can't wait until our bigger event happening. Carry on!
