"Hey, yeah sure. What's up, what room are you looking for?", I said to her trying to be nice. "Oh thanks so much! It's room 312. English with Mrs. Peterson", she said to me. I started laughing and she looked confused. "Haha, that's a coincidence.. that's this classroom and I'm in it." "Oh really? Boy, I'm glad. I don't know ANYBODY and I have no clue what I'm doing or where I'm going", she said to me looking a little relieved. "Oh, hey don't sweat it. I'm Alexa", I said holding out my hand. "I'm Paulene, nice to meet you", she said as she shook mine. "Ditto." Mrs. Peterson came so we walked into the classroom. Luckily there was an empty seat next to me which Paulene took.

We sit in the back so we just talked and stuff during the whole period. I mean Mrs. Petey talked about America's Most Wanted for half of the period anyway! "So, where did move here from?", I asked her. "New Jersey, a really small town. My dad's job had to move so we had to move too. The only good thing is so did my cousin because our dads own the business together so I know her at least." "Oh well, that's pretty cool." "Yeah, we live in the same builiding and everything. She's our age and she's in this school but as luck would have it we have absolutely no classes together." "Yeah, that always seems to happen" ::rrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnggg:: I showed Paulene to her next class and went to mine. I had three more periods till lunch so I kinda day dreamed through the rest of the periods until the fourth period bell rang and I was free for an hour.

"Hey", Chris said as he walked over to me. "Hey, guess what", I said to him. "Uhh, I give up.. what?" "Funny.. there's this new girl in our grade and she was in my first period class so I got to talk to her. She's really cool, she's from jersey. Her name's Paulene." "Ooh, new chicks.. is she hott?" "Ugh, you're such a guy!" "Wait, this morning you said I was a girl.. now I'm confused", I looked at him and he had that adorable face on again. We both started laughing and met our friends Joey, Mike, and Jill outside to go eat lunch. We have an open campus so we can either leave or stay in the caf or go outside. We usually just go outside if it's nice and eat except every friday when we go to the pizza place next door. "Hey guys", our friend Jill said. She was sitting at our usual table with Mike. "Hey", me and Chris both said. "Yo, Lex who was that chick you were talking to this morning?", Mike asked me. "Oh, that's Paulene. She's new, it was her first day", I replied. He just nodded and then Joey came. "Hey guys", he said as he sat down. We all said hey. Me and Chris have known these guys since like first grade or around there. We usually hang out with them and our other friends Ryan, Kristin, and Nick. It's our little group, but sometimes Chris hangs out with Jesse, Greg, Matt and Frankie and we all have other friends but I mostly hang out with them. So anyway we finished eating lunch and then went back inside for more school, yay. I only had three periods left so it wasn't two bad but I mean it was still school. I went up to my locker with Chris and then we went off to gym. After school I met up with Chris at my locker and we started walking home.

"Hey Alexa", I heard someone call from behind me. It was Paulene, and she was running up to us. "Oh hey Paulene, this is my friend Chris", I said to her. "Hey", she said looking Chris up and down. "Hey", he said back with one of those nods that guys always do.
