Club Information
Duluth High Interact Club was founded about ten years ago at Duluth High School. Today, Interact Club is sponsored by Geri Flanary, Ansley Sommers, and Meg Rebholz and consists of over 200 members. Meetings are generally the first and third week of each month,
but be sure to check posters and announcements for changes.

Officers
President
The president shall preside over all regular and special meetings of the club and board of directors (officers). The president shall be responsible for preparing the meeting's agendas and maintaining a list of projects and the names of the club members who are serving as chairpersons of those projects. The president will also work closely with the club advisors and will serve as the advisors' liason with club members and officers.Vice President
The vice president shall succeed to the office of the presidnet in case of his/her removal from office. In the absence of the president, the vice president shall preside over the meetings.Secretary
The secretary shall maintain all club records. He/she shall keep minutes of all meetings of the club and board of directors (officers) and prepare a monthly calendar of the club's activities.Treasurer
The treasurer shall maintain records of all of the club's funds and expenditures. He/she shall report the club's financial status at all meetings of the board of directors.Sergeants-At-Arms
The sergeants-at-arms shall maintain a current list of all members, membership applications, and a record of the number of community service hours performed by each member of the club. These officers will also be responsible for taking attendance at regular meetings of the club.Recruiter
The recruiter is responsible for publicizing all meetings of the club and for encouraging students to become members of the Interact Club. The recruiter will also publicize all special events sponsored by the club.Scrapbook Chairpersons
The scrapbook chairpersons will serve as the club's historian. It will be ther responsibility of these officers to assemble the club's scrapbook each year for presentation at the annual spring convention.

Weekly/Monthly Projects
Recycling: Every thursday afterschool. Sign-up is in Ms. Flanary's room.Sheltering Arms: One friday each month.
Plantation South: Every Sunday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Plantation South (located adjacent to the Gwinnett County Public Library).
