GURU RINPOCHE'S TSOG OFFERING

OM AH HUNG BENZAR GURU PEDMA SIDDHI HUNG

"Tsog" means gathering. "Tsog offering" means gathered together the holy things that we would like to offer and we ourselves gathered together to do the practice. The Tibetan connotation of "Tsog" is gathered together with all others dharma brothers and sisters, practising the same puja, concentrating our minds in one same universal. It is good that we grouped together to do our practices because hundred people's mind gathered together will become very powerful.

The "Tsog' term refers to the two accumulations or the provosions of merits. The overall purpose presenting a "Tsog" is to accumulate merit and the pristine cognition. Besides, in Tibetan tradition, "Tsog" is another profound method of purification and gaining realisation. Another connotation of "Tsog" is party, a party at which we share the great wisdom and bliss among us. "Tsog" also regarded as an indispensable means of conferring accomplishment and pacifying obstacles.

Guru Rinpoche Tsog, indeed it is a kind of rituals and mandala of feast offering. Gathering of the deities of the three roots will come to the feast. During then, we will offer the outer, inner and secret offerings of great bliss. From there, we humbly confess all violations and lapses of precepts, liberate the obstructions of all attachment to self and others, and dual-conceptualising into the dharmadhatu state. And may the great bliss of sameness please the Guru Rinpohce's heart, we pray that Guru will confer supreme and mundane realisations.

In addition, we offer those Tsog to the protectors and hungry ghosts too. The arrogant hosts who eat the excess offerings, descend like clouds, eat ravenously and devour the enemies of the dharma and those who break their vows. Thus, they will give us some signs immediately. Counteract the obstacles to realisations and perform Buddhas ceaselessly.
