April 15, 2004 - Recording is complete on a three track demo by the Durafunk Project. This should hopefully get us a lot of gigs this summer - see any member of the band for a free copy and check DOWNLOADS to listen.
April 2004 - We should be in a studio within the next couple of weeks to record all these new originals. Stay tuned for CD that should be done by mid- May, as well as another Oak Grove show on the way.
March 23, 2004 - Sadie Hawkins was again incredible, without Moe it was a little tougher to pull off, but Lee stepped in and did a nice job. Much thanks to all the crowd and the seniors for their support.
February 22, 2004 - JamFest was a good time for all. Nice atmosphere. Hope everyone enjoyed the new sound, there is a lot more coming. Thanks to the Marist Music Association for putting us on.
August 8, 2003 - Well the 4th of July went pretty good. Not too much news just writing some songs trying to get together along with working with a new member of the band Zac for guitar and vocals.
March 23, 2003 - Sadie was incredible, just a good time. Next big show coming up is going to be chanel day on April 24, I hope to see everyone there. Also rapier recording should be coming soon in the next couple of months.
December 22, 2002 - Oak Grove went extremel well. We had a fairly strong turnout. The place is awesome, and we plan on doing it again sometime. We have some new orignals in the works. If you were at Oakgrove, you heard some of them. Currently, we are seperately working on them, but in a few weeks we plan to complete them, and hopefully record. The sound is a little more different. We are writing more melodic riffs with alot of keys into our originals. Alec also got a new five string bass that adds another deminsion to our music (and its pink, but baddas)
December 20, 2002 - Durafunk is currently preparing for a show at Oakgrove on friday night. we will play covers, originals, and some durafunk jams. If u are interested in coming the directions are as follows: (coming out of marist)
1. coming out of marist, straight on harts mill.
2. go all the way to chamblee dunwoody and take a right
3. take a right on peachtree industrial.
4. proceed 1 mile and take a left on chamblee tucker.
5. on chamblee tucker, take a right on shallowford.
6. take a left onto oakgrove, its on the right
