Physical Description

~ Fur/feathers
Dasel's feathers are a swirly, iridescent rainbow of bright pastel colors. Exact colors have changed since she first hatched, but in general they are a spectrum of reds and pinks, greens, purples, oranges, with some yellow and blue. Her fur is solid black, as are her birdlike talons, beak, and shiny, daggerlike claws.

~ Eyes
Dasel's eyes are slitted and yellow, a cross between an eagle's eye and a cat's. They give her excellent vision during the day, and respectable night-vision.

~ Physique
Dasel is of medium build, and graceful, with strong talons and wings.

~ Appearance
Tyrins are what others would know as "gryphons," or beasts that appear to be half eagle, half cat, such as a lion. Dasel has a modest crest of feathers on the back of her head, and a lion's tail ending in a tuft of fur the same colors as her feathers. Her wings are long and feathered.

Personality

~ Attitude
Dasel is a sweet girl with an almost whimsical outlook on life. Since being invited to join Koorikumo and Lirel in their journey to Enzan Shi, she has been more optimistic, which is closer to her true nature than anything. She looks forward to finding a gryphon to bond there, and often sits and daydreams about what he or she will be like.

~ Likes/dislikes
She enjoys pretty things in nature such as butterflies, rainbows, and flowers. Strangely despite this, Koori treats her very gently and respectfully. Perhaps it has something to do with the young tyrin's budding magical powers, which seem to be strongest when focused on rain and rainbows: water and light, refraction and the like. She loves to study about her powers, though while she is not impatient, she prefers to see results right away.
