| So.. you've decided to consider dedicating or initiating yourself into the Craft? You can visit one of the pages you want depending on what you are looking for. Some will say that only a Witch can make a Witch and claim that self-initiation is false. Others will bring up the counter argument, "So who made the first Witch then?" There is no correct answer to this question. I believe that if you want to initiate yourself, no one can tell you that you're not a Witch. Then again, I don't believe that initiation or dedication makes a true Witch either. Anyway, i leave this decision up to you, I will provide you with some information about initiation and dedication, and some sample rituals, the rest only you can decide. Generally, a Wiccan will dedicate her or himself into the Craft after a long period of studying about Wicca. After (s)he feels (s)he is ready to dedicate, she or he may take this step as a symbol of starting a life with Wicca. After a year and a day from dedication, you may initiate yourself into the Craft if during the so-called "trial period" of a year and a day you feel that this indeed is the path for you.
